Brooklyn College Science Day
Science Day at Brooklyn College allows all members of Brooklyn College and the neighboring high schools to present their research. All posters entered are judged by Brooklyn College faculty and graduate students. GK-12 Fellows work with their HS students to create a poster based on the projects they completed over the year. Students' posters compete with other Brooklyn high school students who enter science day. The posters are judged by Brooklyn College faculty and graduate students.
NSF GK-12 Annual Poster
Fellows create one poster which incorporates the individual schools based on the NSF set overarching theme for the annual meeting. Check out www.gk12.org for additional information on the NSF national annual conferences and other GK-12 projects.
American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) 2010 National Meeting, San Diego California
GK-12 projects from across the country were invited to participate in a special focus group at the AAAS national meeting in San Diego, CA. Our Fellows presented posters on the projects they were conducting with the high school students. For more information about AAAS: http://www.aaas.org
